By accessing this website or engaging in SCIO therapy sessions with SCIO Pathways Wellness Therapy, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, you must refrain from using this website or engaging in our services.
1. Appointments & Cancellations
Clients are required to provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee, equivalent to 100% of the session fee.
Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to respect other clients’ appointments.
Missed appointments without prior notice (no-shows) may be charged the full session fee.
2. Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made in writing.
Accepted payment methods include cash, card, EFT.
All payments are non-refundable for completed SCIO therapy sessions. Refunds for prepaid services are subject to the discretion of SCIO Pathways Wellness Therapy and may be subject to an administrative fee.
3. Scope of Services
SCIO therapy is a complementary wellness approach and does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Clients should seek advice from their healthcare provider for any medical conditions or concerns.
Our services are intended to support overall wellness and do not guarantee specific results or outcomes.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SCIO Pathways Wellness Therapy and its practitioners disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this website, participation in SCIO therapy sessions, or reliance on any information provided.
Clients agree to use the services at their own risk and release SCIO Pathways Wellness Therapy from any claims or liabilities associated with the services provided.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete health information, including any pre-existing medical conditions, medications, or known allergies.
SCIO Pathways Wellness Therapy reserves the right to decline service if incomplete or inaccurate information is provided.
6. Privacy and Confidentiality
All personal and health information shared during SCIO therapy sessions will be treated with strict confidentiality and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
However, disclosure may be required by law in situations such as harm to self or others or as part of legal proceedings.
7. Intellectual Property

SCIO Pathways Wellness Therapy shall not be held liable for any delays or interruptions in service resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, or technical failures.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
11. Amendments
SCIO Pathways Wellness Therapy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website or services after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
